A quality system in line
with ISO /IEC 17025: 1999 has been established, implemented
and maintained in the laboratory. The quality policy of the
laboratory and also its objectives has been documented. The
quality policy has been communicated to all personnel in the
organisation.
The structure of documentation in the laboratory has been
defined. The reference to all procedure and other documents
has been included in its quality system manual.
The roles and responsibilities of the Technical Manager, Lab
Manager, Technical Staff and Quality Manager have been defined.
The organisation is taking up their activities under cover
of Total Transformer Care. However, the laboratory is entirely
a separate set up, and is headed by an Independent Technical
Manager reporting directly to the Managing Director. The Technical
Manager is not involved in any activities other than activities
of testing Laboratory.
Adequate Managerial and Technical manpower is available in
the laboratory.
A confidentiality policy has been laid down and has been communicated
to all concerned. All employees have been prohibited from
taking any information related to clients, whether in the
form of paper or electronic backup outside the laboratory,
except transfer to the Head Office, where the electronic backup
is sent in a sealed cover.
Customer Satisfaction is accorded highest importance in the
laboratory.
The opinions and interpretations are invariably provided,
wherever necessary.
A Feedback is enclosed with the reports randomly to understand
the client’s perception of our services. The feedback
provided by customers is used as a means of improving the
quality system and the client services.
