Sampling Equipment: -

All the sampling equipment (Samplers&
container) shall be clean & dry. |

When possible, sample container should
be glass, but stainless steel and aluminum may also
be used. |
Sampling Equipment: -
Sample Container shall be first cleaned with a
solvent & soap and after removal of solvent, then rinsed
copiously with tap water followed by Distilled Water until
the rinsing show a Neutral Test.
After cleaning, the sample container is drained and dried
in an oven at 105 to 110o C. After drying it should be immediately
protected from contamination and not opened until just before
use.
Sampling Procedure: -

Remove the outlet valve shield, if fitted. |

Remove all visible dirt & dust from
the value by mean of lint free clean clothes. |
| 3. |
Allow the oil to trickle slowly through
the value so as to remove the impurities. |
| 4. |
Rinse the Sampling Bottles with Sample
Liquid. |
| 5. |
Then fill the bottles with sample &
seal airtight. |
Sampling Equipment: -
Every precaution shall be taken, when sampling
not to contaminate or moisture the oil. Outdoor of sampling
of oil in rain, fog or high wind is only permitted. If all
the precautions have been taken to avoid pollution of the
sample. Before use the equipment should be rinsed with liquid
being sampled. During all these operations, every care should
be taken to avoiding contamination.
